Absolutely wonderful. Jordan Grant always keeps my attention and I've learned much. Thank you, Dawn and Jordan. I'll be listening to this multiple times.
Quantum theory is indeed broken and where physics wants to believe in the invisible which makes them see what they want to see by using broken methods.
Another crazy religious idea in physics is the big bang theory which is now being challenged by new data.
The double slit experiment ignores the fact that any detector takes energy and thus influences whatever is being measured. The wave function of the light ends up being changed, leading to only one slit being used. It's also crazy how they assumed that light is quantized as "photons".
Here's a good playlist of videos that explain the contractions and wrong assumptions in modern physics including qt and relativity.
It is. But sadly many people who call themselves 'vegan' still receive vaccines without doing the necessary research to discover the level of animal abuse that goes into virology and vaccine manufacture.
I even saw vegan websites that recommended vegans to ignore 'anti-vaxxers' and take the Covid jab to 'protect' themselves.
You believe that there is absolutely no god. This is what atheism is about.
atheism - disbelief in the existence of God or gods
It is not an assertion of no proof of any gods.
So bring valid arguments next time. And stop straw manning me. I have never made any claim about any Thor or Odin. Or have any imaginary friend.
And I clearly know that by the great dr. you mean Grant here. Nowhere he said that his beliefs are proven facts. Also he means that we do not know all variables. Thus you can't know absolutely everything. That is why I say that we know things on perceivable levels of reality. And it does not mean that we know all variables and everything about variables we know.
It is not my problem that you do not understand what was said in this conversation. And you should describe yourself properly as agnostic. 🤦🏻♂️
it's amazing how people seem to TRY and miss what was actually said. And you are right, my beliefs are just that, beliefs, and I've clearly stated that over and over again :). and yes, we are NOT omniscient. IE, not God or "a god", etc. We didn't create this realm, and have little clue as to the underpinning "mechanisms" etc that may be going on. we are allowed to know a little. As you say, "perceivable levels of reality". I 100% agree with that phrase. There are things we can know, and deeper layers we simply cannot. I think people have a hard time with that part.
Regardless, it's hilarious to me that people can't do a basic study of epistemology and what it means to "Know" something, "believe" something, etc.
We all have beliefs, and we MUSt, before we can even start reasoning.
We have to have a starting point, and that starting point cannot be "proven", otherwise it wouldn't be a starting point (by definition). Then we end up in infinite regress of trying to prove prior premises, which is impossible.
Great episode as always, I haven't come across Jordan before - what an inspiring guy!
Thank you. Yes, he is inspiring. Our first conversation was great too. That was Episode 5, https://dawnlester.substack.com/p/dawn-of-discernment-ep-5-critical

Thank you so much. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it and found it useful. 🥰
Jordan may well be the smartest guy who "doesn't know" much of anything.
Thanks Jordan! Good to see you here. Always appreciate your insights.

Does the great dr. says that their religion is based on facts and not beliefs?
Also being an atheist is a belief that there is no god.
So you contradict yourself here.

Ugh. Good seeing you in here my friend :)
