The world is changing - which means we also have to make changes!
Many of us have found over the past few years that the people we used to regard as our friends no longer see the world the same way we do; they have different views from us.
In many instances, these differences do not prevent the continuation of the friendship, but in some cases, sadly, the friendship no longer ‘works’, we no longer feel comfortable with them; or they may be critical of us or even rude to us.
This means we may need to find other people who have similar ideas and a similar mindset to us.
How do we do this?
One of the ways is to find events where like-minded and like-hearted people gather together.
As I discussed in my January workshop - link to register and watch the replay below - last year I definitely ‘found my tribe’ at the event called Music & Sky.
Music & Sky is an amazing gathering that will take place in June this year at a larger event space than previous years, so that even more like-minded people and their families can meet and gather together.
I am honoured to have been invited to be one of the speakers this year.
So, if 2024 is the year you want to ‘find your tribe’, do not miss this opportunity - early bird tickets are still available, but only for 2 more days.
I so want to go to Music & Sky but can't make the dates for this one, hopefully the next. Thanks for sharing, it's tough finding tribe.
"but in some cases, sadly, the friendship no longer ‘works’, we no longer feel comfortable with them"... relate means slow down, tell, recount, leave... so, if a friendship no longer 'works' I rejoice because it's a sign of growth, but wanting to feel comfortable keeps me stuck, so that's where sadness comes from, which leaves me if I dare to feel sad.
What we won't feel can't heal 🤗
